Best Sushi in RiNo

Sushi conveyor belt = good time. Friendly staff, fun and bright decor, very clean and sushi tasted fresh. I like the concept of the conveyor belt because you don’t have to commit to a whole roll, you can just try a couple pieces of a bunch of different rolls.

Samantha P. Sushi-Rama

I love this idea.  So many times I go eat sushi and can only enjoy one roll before filling up.  This way I get to try several different types of rolls.  We loved it and I will definitely be back.

Robin G. Sushi-Rama

I went here with my brother while visiting Colorado. I highly recommend their soft shell crab roll. I wouldn’t get the octopus roll, it’s extremely rubbery. Experience: 5/5 Service: 4.5/5 (a little slow on drink refills) Food: 5/5 Overall I would definitely come back. Great place for a date night or just to relax. Just be careful when you start snatching plates off the conveyer belt. Adds up fast.

Kathryn O. Sushi-Rama

SO GOOD! I came here for lunch one day and it was a magical experience. The restaurant is colorful and fun on the inside with art alongside the walls and pretty lights hanging from the ceiling. When I walked in, the first thing I saw was the conveyor belt carrying the sushi, and I already knew I’d love this place; I’m a huge fan of Japanese food and culture. I sat down and made my pick-I had the salmon roll and the Kokonatsu roll. Both were delicious and I liked them very much, and I’m not a big fan of sushi. My meal was finished off with some mochi ice cream in the flavors of Green Tea and Chocolate, and of course they were as delicious as the sushi. I highly recommend this place to anyone who likes sushi or Japanese food in general.

Misty F. Sushi-Rama

Great little hole-in-the-wall with a bright, playful atmosphere. Rolls were delicious and fresh. Been to a few conveyor sushi places in my life and this is probably on the top. Definitely not your super traditional Japanese but from what the server told me, their happy hour sounds like a pretty impressive deal for some of the better sushi rolls in Denver! During my lunch they had sat me with two empty seats on either side and eventually had a party of two come in and they politely asked me to scoot one seat over to accommodate the new party, which was no problem and at the end of the meal they even gave me a little discount for moving. Not expected and a very kind gesture! Will come again! Thanks!

Sam A. Sushi-Rama

Yummy sushi and super fast! Ashley has usually been my waitress and she is super kind and on top of everything. Make sure to try the “kaki-Suki” it’s awesome!

Megan F. Sushi-Rama

Very fun conveyor belt sushi in RINO. The restaurant has high ceilings even though the restaurant is not that wide and the open kitchen is just behind the seating (mixture of booths and bar type stools). My wife said the ceiling looked like a gym floor upside down and a 70’s bowling alley. Very bright colors indeed. Went with friends on a Friday night. They have seating downstairs for the conveyor belt and upstairs seating (believe this is traditional menu ordering but unsure) The sushi is not Sushi Sasa quality but is also not priced like theirs. You choose from nigiri style sushi or rolls. I’m not sure if they offer sashimi as it was not on the conveyor. The plates have two to four pieces and 13-15 plates of varying colors with a beer (delicious Great Divide Samurai rice beer for $4) and coke was $71+tip. My favorites were the seared tuna (2 pieces) and coconut shrimp roll (4 pieces). We tried many other plates. One word of caution: the spicy rolls are SPICY! I usually eat a spicy tuna roll and am fine. At Sushi-rama their heat level is quite a bit higher than most other Japanese restaurants. Our friends commented that the spicy philly roll (with cream cheese) was bordering on inedible. This area has a ton of new places popping up and I am excited to try Sushi-rama again soon.

Finally tried Sushi Rama with my daughter, her bf and my husband on Saturday, Sept 3. We live in Highlands Ranch, and the trek to Sushi Rama is about a 40 minute drive. It was worth the drive. There were not very many people in the restaurant for lunch that day (everyone must’ve been at the Taste of Colorado), so, as expected, service was good. Server immediately came by to take drink orders. We also ordered miso soup. I grade a good sushi restaurant starting with its miso soup. Sushi Rama did not disappoint, miso soup is excellent. Love the mushrooms in it. Delicious! I tried sushi on a conveyor belt for the first time, back home in Tyson’s Corner in No. Virginia. I’ve always hoped that one would open in Denver. I love the conveyor belt concept because you do not order too much and if you want more, you can just reach out for another plate. Again, Sushi Rama did not disappoint. Sushi in this restaurant is very good and reasonably priced. BTW, my husband does not eat sushi, but he indulges me and is always a good sport. Sushi Rama has choices on their menu for non-sushi eaters. My husband ordered a plate of ribs, and he said it was delicious! YAY!! We will definitely take the long drive and eat here again.

Caroline B. Sushi-Rama

Chef Jesus is the man!  Excellent quality fish and the most creative rolls in town.  Don’t miss the macho sauce or the madai nigiri.

Bryan O. Sushi-Rama

Really tasty sushi altho it was pretty busy when i was there. Just watch out for their nigiri, they put wasbi in it. Not bad just some people dont like it. I really liked the conveyer system. I could eat at my own pace and as a person eating by myself i didnt have to order and eat a whole roll. Overall an A+ place.

Miranda H. Sushi-Rama

Omg. This is my new favorite place for sushi. Great decor and friendly staff…but beyond that I live that I bc can look at the sushi on the conveyor belt and then choose which I want and how much I want. So unlike other sushi places where you have to eat 2 or 3 whole rolls, you can get a taste of 6 to 8. And the vibe is way cool!

Rod B. Sushi-Rama

First time, finally found a sushi place that serves fast made, quality, delicious sushi via conveyor belt. This was a great choice for lunch. Very reasonable prices and great service. Love the Green Tea. This is a must visit. Great place to meet friends and coworkers for lunch. Highly recommend this place. I will be back!

Frann B. Sushi-Rama

Jeff Osaka, we LOVE what you do with food. Thank you for a delicious meal. Now we have a go to place in Denver for sushi!

Heidi T. Sushi-Rama

Good sushi, at your table when you are sat. Hip and playful ambience and probably the best place in Denver, to get quality sushi without having to spend hours doing so.

Gabriel M. Sushi-Rama

What a fun and delicious experience! The sushi was fresh and delicious and the staff were beyond welcoming and courteous. Everything was clean where we sat around the bar at the sushi belt, too. I’ve been lucky enough to visit Japan and enjoyed a couple of conveyor belt sushi restaurants while I was there; the sushi at Sushi-Rama is about on par with those I visited in Japan. This is a great place to hang out and grab a quick bite to eat with friends or your significant other. I felt the price to quality ratio was reasonable as well. I’ll definitely be back!

Emma R. Sushi-Rama

Yummy yummy yummy I love sushi in my tummy….love this place!  How can you not want to eat here all of the time? First of all Jeff, Jesus, and staff are all amazing.  The fish is delicious, high quality, and I do love the instant gratification of conveyor-belt sushi!  Bright and welcoming, with delicious treats like the spicy edamame (I don’t know what’s on it but they are the best edamame I’ve ever had in my whole life), mussels, and a row of never-ending sushi. You would be a fool to not incorporate this into your regular repertoire!

Tara C. Sushi-Rama

I have been anxiously awaiting conveyor belt sushi for Denver! I didn’t care about the sushi being amazing – I wanted the belt cruising by with little plates and good music and some sake with my posse. So get this – It is all that and more. I was freaking out at how good each roll was! And the different colored plates that you stack up determines the pricing. The pumpkin roll was my fav. The music was vibe setting with punk-surf-a-billy when we were there and the service was spot on. Friendly but also left us alone to chat about what to try next. The mussels were our only hot item we tried and we were literally spooning the broth up on the shells. Yep. So – to see the medium ratings popping up – I say forget about it and go. For the people referencing Sushi Sasa or Sushi Den – guess where most of the staff has worked. Duh, better come up with a better comparison.

Dawn W. Sushi-Rama

Sushi-Rama is Da Bomb!!! NOM NOM NOM. This place is fresh, clean, stylish, and the food is so totally delish… If you’re like me and you enjoy instant gratification, then revolving sushi will be just the thing for you! Food is always circling, awaiting our reach. And I found the fish and rolls to be super fresh, well flavored, and priced with value in mind. Sushi-Rama is being run by a rising star chef in the Denver community. And I can attest to the pursuit of excellence and personal pride Jesus Silva pours into this awesome new Sushi spot. Along with the Jeff Osaka as owner, this sushi place is destined for greatness! When you walk in you’ll find a small cozy restaurant filled with bright light, happy colors, and a well trained staff who will make your time feel special. The bar seats give you first grabs at the plates of well made sushi and rolls, the booths allow larger parties to squeeze in for goodies and good times. And there’s even an upstairs for table service. If you’re new to revolving sushi, you will love it!! Just grab any plates of fresh fish, or rolls you wish and the server will count your plates at the end of your meal to add up your bill. Simple. Easy. Delish! We had about one of everything and I must say the pumpkin roll was absolute perfection. I loved the salmon rolls, and soft shell crab was yummmmm. All of the sushi and rolls we had tasted fresh, and had excellent flavors. Then there’s a fantastic and simple menu of apps, cooked items, and other tasty treats you’ll certainly want to explore– The crispy spicy shrimp dish is totally out of this world yummmmmmm! The spicy edamame is great, and the mussels are just so good!! As for the drink menu, it’s well crafted and won’t break the bank. They are offering a nice selection of beer, sake, and hand mixed cocktails that are well priced and matched with their excellent taste to accompany your sushi. This place is fantastic and I am excited to go again soon and often…

Jason G. Sushi-Rama

This is there grand opening I love it it’s very hard to find a place that serves sushi let alone a fun place come and support local businesses and enjoy this place with friends or bring a date

Lina M. Sushi-Rama

I was lucky enough to be among the first people trying out Sushi Rama this week and had a great experience! I’ve never been to a “conveyor belt” sushi spot and I have to admit that I was skeptic – how was this going to taste? Should I be worried about the quality? Excellent and no. We had a fun time watching food stuffs saunter by us and everything we tried was delicious. It was interactive and I could see this being a fast lunch spot for me or a fun place to go with friends for an experiential meal. Here’s how it works: You enter and are seated at a counter with a moving belt on which various foods are circulating on different color plates (covered with a clear plastic dome). The price of the item is denoted by the color of the plate. (See images) Want something that’s not on the belt? They’ve got you covered. You can order other food, rolls and drinks from the waitstaff who check in on you. Excited to have Sushi Rama in the neighborhood!

Jackie R. Sushi-Rama

Nom nom nom!!! Literally had everything on the menu and it was delicious. AND FUN!! Stoked to have it in the neighborhood 🙂

Brooke D. Sushi-Rama

One of the best sushi spots in Denver. The little plates add up fast, but it’s totally worth every penny. If you don’t see what you want coming around, just ask, they will make it for you. All my out of state family get taken here when they come to visit. It is such a fun and yum experience!

Roma G. Sushi-Rama

It is  a very good place to try out different type of sushi. I really love that this restaurant brought the conveyor belt sushi concept here in Denver. I know that I will bring my friends and family here!

Dj Arc Sushi-Rama

This place was awesome and fun. I was full and they kept putting out new rolls. It took a lot of self control not to grab everything in sight! We lucked out and didn’t have to wait, but it completely filled up about 10 minutes after we walked in. 2 people in and out and full for $40 and in 30 minutes. Not bad.

Maria N. Sushi-Rama

I saw this restaurant in a viral video on Facebook and had to stop in to check it out for myself. The sushi was really fresh, and I loved that I could get a bunch of different things on plates of two or three at a time to try them. The unagi was really good too, but it had to be ordered from a different menu since it doesn’t come around on the belt for some reason. My boyfriend and I love to stop in for happy hour, all the plates are only $3!!

Brianna T. Sushi-Rama

So it’s not that the sushi is the best,  it is good, but it’s the experience as well. The staff was great, only. Complaint is over priced drinks.

Stewart L. Sushi-Rama

My neighborhood favorite with a great staff and delicious food. It’s a Friday tradition to stop by here with my colleagues.

Brandi S. Sushi-Rama

Great sushi place that two can grab lunch for under $30

Robert L. Sushi-Rama

Very tasty sushi. Everything is good!

Jackie C. Sushi-Rama

Quick and casual conveyor belt sushi can’t be beat in terms of convenience and charm.    It’s not the best sushi you’ll ever eat, but then again that’s not what you were looking for from a place that serves fish on a conveyor belt.  What it does, it does well, and fits with its location and subsequent clientele. Definitely worth a stop for a quick fun snack.

Michael Y. Sushi-Rama

Love the concept!  The rotation sushi concept is super fun and the sushi is good. I would say, however, that this isn’t a good place for big groups. It can really only accommodate a group of 4 max. It’s best if you’re coming here with just one other person.

Allison S. Sushi-Rama

Neat sushi place with conveyor belt. The sushi options are decently priced and the variety is satisfying. Not as exciting or tasty as the Kula conveyor belt restaurant chain that is moving into the country but still worth a visit!

Christopher G. Sushi-Rama

A phenomenal experience. The aesthetic is spot on and the conveyer belt sushi is a treat. The sushi was surprisingly good and the service excellent. A must for anyone who enjoys sushi and loves Rino!

John M. Sushi-Rama

If you’re looking for creative sushi inventions and want to try more than just a California Roll- this is the spot. The bill can add up quick, but you get to try so much more than other places offer.

Erin B. Sushi-Rama

Such an awesome concept! It was so fun sitting at the conveyor belt and getting to try so many different rolls! Will definitely be back!

Emily W. Sushi-Rama

Great sushi at an affordable price. You can’t go wrong with any roll you select.  Sit near the conveyor belt, for a fun experience. Grab any roll directly from the content belt. Great place for a night out.

Aleah M. Sushi-Rama

Conveyer belt sushi that’s really good.  And the staff are awesome too.

Paul L. Sushi-Rama

This is my favorite sushi place. Everything is delicious and it’s very clean. It’s a really fun experience to have the sushi come around by itself. There’s hardly any places like this in the US. They also have killer deals for happy hour. You can buy tons of sushi with out going broke.

Soren Sushi-Rama

I thought the quality of the sushi was great for the price. We have eaten here a few times and now and have found it very consistent.

Ted R. Sushi-Rama

This place was so cool. The sushi tasted great. The conveyor belt was so much fun. There was a bit of a wait but well worth it!

Caitlin O. Sushi-Rama

Super fun sushi bar, once you’re seated you can immediately start eating as the sushi comes past on a conveyor belt! You pay by the plate, with prices ranging from 3-5$ based on a color system. Their happy hour, from 5-6 on Tuesday-Friday, is a great value as all their sushi plates are 3$!

Ken K. Sushi-Rama

Stellar quality and a wide selection of fish on a conveyer by your table. The service is great here and the prices reasonable for the selection and quality.

Brian B. Sushi-Rama

I love their happy hour! All their plates $3! 3-6 pm weekdays. Good sushi and zero wait. We came on Friday a little after 5pm.

Julia B. Sushi-Rama

Best sushi happy hour in Denver!! The salmon is always on point and they’ve got some really fun & original rolls.

William Charles G. Sushi-Rama

This place is amazing for a quick lunch or an intimate dinner. I love coming here because you try everything for cheap! Rolls are sold by the two or four. So much much.

Jeremy Sushi-Rama

Ok sushi good for price with happy hour. Not really sure why they close on Monday.

Kelsie B. Sushi-Rama

The conveyor belt sushi is awesome.  It’s ready when you sit down, there’s as great selection and their Chrysalis roll is amazing.

Eric F. Sushi-Rama

Cute, fun and clean! Sushi was good also!!

Flo M. Sushi-Rama

Ashley was great. The sushi line, a great concept. I would check it out.

Michelle O. Sushi-Rama

Really enjoy this place! The food is so quick that you can stop on for a few plates and then go on to the rest of your day.

Michael A. Sushi-Rama

Love the quality of the sushi and the decor

Kate Y. Sushi-Rama

This is the first real “conveyor sushi” restaurant I’ve dined at. Pulling plates from the conveyor isn’t just a gimmick. You don’t have to wait for a server to order, and for a chef to prep. You can sample several rolls without committing to an entire one that you might not like. Their pumpkin roll was especially good, and surprisingly contained no meat. Pricing was average for sushi and the restaurant has a nice modern aesthetic. The menu contains classic rolls as well as contemporary fusions with strawberries or jalapeños, and if that’s not your thing they always have nigiri.

Matthew A. Sushi-Rama

Fabulously fresh sushi on a little conveyor belt, what’s not to love!

Kate S. Sushi-Rama

Awesome concept, the sushi is delicious too!

Matt L. Sushi-Rama

Kokonatsu roll for the win!!

Blair S. Sushi-Rama

Amazing! Semi-limited menu but I loved that the sushi was your ‘usual’ with a twist. Some had a poblano or chipotle sauce, or there was a spicy with a kiwi on it to add a touch of sweetness. We ordered apps, 8 different rolls and some nigiri and they were all incredible! I can’t stop thinking about them and will be back for more without question.

Lauren L. Sushi-Rama

Clean, friendly, fresh, delicious…sushi…

Tai N. Sushi-Rama

It’s open, contrary to what Google Maps says as I’m writing this. The sushi, miso soup, spicy Edamame, and hot green tea were great! I will be going back to try more off the menu!

James R. Sushi-Rama

Conveyor belt sushi facilitates my fatness ?

Colorful, fun, yummy, and affordable! Their rolls are creative and inspired, their sushi is good quality for the stellar price, and the cocktails are great. My new favorite for a quick and easy weekday lunch.

The concept here is awesome. The ambiance, food, and service are outstanding. My family and I really enjoy coming here. My kids love being able to pick up whichever roll they want and not have to wait to order. We never waste food. Definitely will be returning, often.

Loved the sushi conveyor belt of deliciousness.
